WILLOW WEAVING

We were delighted to welcome back artist and weaver Imogen Higgins to the garden.

With a festive theme to this weaving workshop, in the morning Imogen demonstrated how to make a festive wreath using willow - and how to adorn it with festive foliage including holly and ivy.

In the afternoon, Imogen demonstrated a slightly more advanced basket weaving technique to make an eco-friendly bird feeder.

Although the raining was pretty much driving in the morning, we were thrilled to see smiling faces and a gaggle of folk leaving with a beautiful wreath to adorn their home.
